GLOSSARY of the European Convention on Human Rights

If you are a translator and are translating anything official professionally, even examining this short list can be helpful to make sure that the terms you are using are acceptable to both English and Serbian. One good point for legal translation is that “execute” is the verb for “izvršiti” in Serbian when related to law, legislation, jurisprudence, the judicial system or any other legal related manner. It is generally not conduct, perform or carry out as may be found in badly translated legal documents. This list shows the correct terms and is good for even a veteran translator.
