Is an active translation where our interpreter conveys in real time the overall message into the target language from the source language, while the speaker of the source language speaks uninterruptedly.
This type of interpretation is best recommended for offline or online conferences and events in which there are a significant number participating. Appropriate technical equipment (booths, microphones, headphones, technicians, or online platform) must be provided on-site by the client.
Also known as “chuchotage”, our interpreter sits or stands next to a small audience (one or two people) and whispers simultaneously in the target language translation of the subject matter. Whispered interpreting does not require any equipment and is used when the majority speaks the source language and a small proportion of participants (ideally up to two people) who do not speak.
Is speech taken in turns where our interpreter delivers a message in the target language after the speaker has spoken. To ease the interpretation, speech is divided into segments and the interpreter sits and delivers a message or stands next to the speaker of the source language, listens and records. When the speaker pauses or finishes speaking, the interpreter translates part or all of the message into the target language. While the interpreter may need a special microphone, no additional technical equipment is required.
